Helping Hands, Inc. is offering our summer residential/vacation camp for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
Each week is open to participants 18+. All weeks are $1300.00.
All registrations are at the discretion of Helping Hands, Inc. To avoid any confusion, Jaimee is the ONLY person who will make reservations. ALL WEEKS WILL BE BASED at the property in Rio Grande, New Jersey. Contrary to previous summers, we will not be having designated camp weeks. All weeks will be Shore weeks with some camp activities sprinkled in (i.e. music and art activities during down-time).
Another difference from previous summer is each participant is promised ONE WEEK. If there is enough space, we will confirm a SECOND week for any individuals interested starting May 1st, 2024. Please list below the individuals first three choices, but remember that one one choice is guaranteed.
Shore Weeks
Week 1: June 16 – June 21, 2024
Week 2: June 23 – June 28, 2024
Week 3: June 30 – June 5, 2024
Week 4: July 7 – July 12, 2024
Week 5: July 14 – July 19, 2024
Week 6: July 28 – August 2, 2024
Week 7: August 4 – August 9, 2024
Week 8: August 11 – August 16, 2024
Week 9: August 18 – August 23, 2024
Week 10: August 25 – August 30, 2024
Each participant may choose one week of each program, if desired.

Payment Information
- For participants who are NOT utilizing waiver funding, a deposit of $50.00 for each week is required by Helping Hands.
- Waiver-funded participants- Summer Program cost is $260 per day. Please communicate this information to your Supports Coordinator. It is your responsibility to inform HH if you will be utilizing waiver funding for our summer programs
- Waiver funded participants are REQUIRED to have authorized service units available prior to attendance. Private Pay participants must submit their FULL PAYMENT at least 4 weeks prior to their scheduled week.

Register Now
- Upon acceptance, participants will be sent an application packet that must be returned to the office no later than two weeks prior to your registered week. You will then receive an acceptance letter and a packing list.
- **For private pay participants, FULL PAYMENT is required four weeks prior to your registered week.
- We will be accepting registration requests for returning participants through April 12th, 2024 and registration requests for new participants will be accepted starting April 18th, 2024. Upon confirmation of the participants’ request, an application packet will be sent out. Once the application packet has been received, an acceptance letter will be sent out along with a packing list.
