Helping Hands, Inc. Day Program/Adult Training Facility (ATF) program provides activities for adults 21 and over with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, which enable them to lead successful lives and connect to their community in meaningful ways. Utilizing both individual and small group settings, our direct support professionals emphasize trainings that improve fine/gross motor coordination and promote independent care skills.
Our direct support professional members conduct educational/recreational activities through sensory stimulation and appropriate therapies which prevent physical regression. These activities are designed to promote independence while allowing each person to accomplish everyday tasks in order that they may live a quality life.
