Direct Support Professional

Job Description:

We are hiring Direct Support Professionals to fill a variety of positions within the Vocational, Residential, and Social Recreation community programs. These positions are seeking compassionate and reliable direct support professionals to work with adults impacted by intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, and Part-time Seasonal

Pay: $16/hr for Adult Day Program, $17.50/hr for Residential Program

$250.00 signing bonus (after 90 days)

Pre Employment Requirements: Valid PA Driver’s License, High School Diploma or GED, Drug Screening Test, PA Criminal Record Check (FBI Check if from out of state), Staff Physical

BOARD OF DIRECTORS EDUCATION PROGRAM

The agency has established an education assistance program for all eligible full-time employees who have completed one (1) or more years of full-time service. All courses/classes elected by an eligible employee are subject to prior management approval for reimbursement.

  • All applicants offered a position will be required to successfully complete a criminal background check. This is a requirement of our state licensing regulations.
  • All applicants who have not been a resident of the State of Pennsylvania for the past two consecutive years will be required to successfully complete and FBI fingerprint background check. This is a requirement of our state licensing regulations.
  • All applicants must possess a high school diploma or GED. This is a requirement of our state licensing regulations.
