- As you can see, we have a variety of activities planned for the upcoming season. Some of these activities are things we haven’t done before, some are activities that have been done before and participants enjoyed them so much we just had to do them again. Feel free to reach out with any new activities that we have not done before. We are always looking for new things to try!

- As always, if you are signed up for an activity and for some reason need to cancel, please contact the main office or the S/R phone (610-506-6723) to notify someone that you will not be attending. S/R Staff check the general voicemail at the office and will have the S/R phone on them at all times while working activities. If you have any questions about this, call or email Jaimee Scott at jscott@helpinghandsinc.com.

- We are hoping to purchase another large quantity of Gertrude Hawk chocolate bars to sell for $1.00 in order to raise money for the S/R program. More information will come.

Image result for cute spring clip art- We are once again selling Reading Phillies ticket books! Each book costs $39.00 and contains 6 game tickets. Helping Hands makes $14.00 off each book sold. The 6 tickets included can be used at any general admission game. See attached flyer or Helping Hands Facebook for more information.

- Our Basket Raffle is going to be held on April 26th this year, at the East Greenville Fire Company. See attached flyer for more information.

Shore & S/R

- There will be 3 shore weekends this season – attached you will find all information regarding dates & times.

- Summer Camp & Shore information will be coming out in approximately the middle of the March. Keep your eyes open for those beloved brochures!

- The Sunday Bowling league will continue weekly until April 5th, 2020. We will not be having bowling on March 22nd due to a shore weekend.

Image result for cute sun clip art- The Wednesday Swimming league will also continue weekly until April 1st, 2020. There are a couple of upcoming scrimmages and swim meets: April 4th at the Upper Dublin Senior High School, April 5th at the Boyertown YMCA, May 2nd at Kutztown University, and June 11-13th at Penn State University. The Penn State swim meet is only for qualifying and invited swimmers, eligibility is based on performance at county swim meets. Permission slips for these meets have been sent home with swimmers, and should be returned to S/R staff if they have not already been returned. Transportation to select swim meets can be discussed as per Jaimee Scott. Please contact via phone call or email if you have any questions about swim meets or scrimmages.

Thanks for a great summer!

The summer camp/shore vacation program provides an age appropriate social/recreational experience for adults over the age of 18. Our traditional "Camp Program" is offered in weekly sessions and provides an opportunity to participate in swimming, arts and crafts, sports, music, hiking, and other camp activities. Our "Vacation Program" at the New Jersey shore is offered in weekly sessions. We have designed a beach vacation with activities that may include trips to Atlantic City, Wildwood, beaches, the boardwalks and other activities requested by the participants.  During Fall and Spring we offer several Respite Camp weekends.

Drop campers off at our office (415 Hoffmansville Road, Bechtelsville, PA) Sunday 3:00 pm and pick up Friday 3:00

As an extension of our S/R and Camp Programs,’ Helping Hands, Inc. coordinates special vacations at the request of our clients. Past trips included cruises to the Caribbean, Mexico, New Orleans, Nashville, Jamaica and a trip to Disney World. Agency staff, volunteers, and the participants work to raise the funds necessary for these trips through a variety of fundraising.
